It's the end of September and the Geraniums are still knocking out the flowers. Even the locals are asking what we have fed them this year to get such big blooms. Next weekend we find out how we did in the front of house flower competition which was judged in early July. Fingers crossed.

They all hail from Madagascar where there is a hotel called Chez Tranquille. It looks nothing like our farmhouse and indeed as we are in another continent I fail to see the similiarity. It just reinforces my belief that people are not concentrating enough when using their phones/tablets etc and this will lead to major problems in the future. Idiots with phones is never a good mix. Take our tango'd friend from across the pond. I rest my case!!

On my mind today Facebook is its Christmas Day so we would like wish all family, friends and aquaintances a very happy and festive holiday, which most of you will be spending time with your loved ones and probably over indulging too much. We are joining 16 of our friendly neighbours extended family, sitting around our big dining table to be fed and watered in a typically french way. Most of us will be wearing our yellow jackets (see recent news reports) in solidarity. Up the revolution!!😉

18 degrees today and the tulips are reaching up for the sun. Is spring springing I wonder.

The Beast from the East didn't quite make it to us here in rural Brittany, it was more like a cold wet flannel across the chops. Still warming up nicely now and the tulips will soon be in flower.

Happy New Year everyone and fellow facetubers. Sorry its been a while but we have been busy and Janets been rewriting Animal Farm. Conehead AKA Butch fell out of tree (we think) followed by a 24hr old lamb appearing after we went to a good friends funeral on my Birthday. Life in the country can be interesting to say the least. Google has been a great help and my vocabulary is expanding every day. The last picture shows Sooty and Gizmo asking "you do know there's a strange animal in the kitchen don't you???" Keep watching this space for more updates.

1st November -Treverien fishing lakes. The clue is in name really so was a bit surprised to see this lot churning up the water enjoying themselves. Set to be a regular event so I might have to get a paddle for Xmas!

So its the end of October and the Geraniums will not give in. More buds than some bloke called Darling in May!
