Uzes Saturday Market. Go in early as very busy by 11.00 ish. Always nice to stop off for a coffee and a croissant! Bought some lovely asparagus and strawberries. .

Les Gorges du Gardon. A lovely walk, weather just right. Fantastic views. We just don’t realise how lucky we are to have so many walks on our doorway. .

After owning our house for 10 years there is still so much of the surrounding areas we still have not explored. We went for a walk today in Les Gorges de Gardon. It was beautiful we could have made the walk longer but thats the beauty you can adapt the walks as you want to. Also our furry friend was getting a bit hot

I have tried for the last few days to take a picture of the Hoopie bird that keeps coming into our garden. It's hearing is amazing and one tiny sound and it is off. It is so pretty and my photo does not do it justice but it is the best I have managed so far. Only seem to see it in May.

I really hope that when people come to Uzes for their holiday they have the most lovely weather. However that is one thing I can't control and sometimes when it rains you really know about it!

We went for a walk to St Quentin La Poterie and you do not realise how many flowers you can pick from the hedgerow. Probably something to do with the fact that we have been watching Clarkson's farm! Thank you to Clare for arranging them

When you go for a walk at this time of year, you see so many poppies. I can't resist taking a picture. I never get board of seeing them

The almond tree in blossom so vey pretty. Nice to be able to sit outside at lunchtime and not wear a coat.

Whilst i do not want to give too much away if you are in Uzes in July and August you really should go to the Pont du Gard at night. The work that goes into producing the show must be immense and the talent of producing it, is fantastic (in my opinion). I can’t guarantee what it will be like in 2024 a lovely evening for a picnic.

Langres. On our way down to Uzes we stopped here. This is the third time we have stopped here and in the past very quiet this time is was lively, a bit of sunshine and tourists make the difference
