La Cuisine du Boucher in St Quentin la Poterie. I normally have a salad but today went for the cassoulet and the rum baba. The staff as always very friendly and helpful. This is normally our Sunday walk but fell down a flight of stairs recently so my knee is not up to it. Mark and Hugo still did the walk. Hopefully will be better for next time.

Hugo always hears the hot air balloons before we do. He still can’t understand why he can’t catch them! I love seeing them over Uzes, shame I am not that keen on heights! .

Why we did not do this years ago. 3rd bedroom now separated with a corridor . Very pleased with it.

We walk pass this every time we come into Uzes and the other night I decided to take a photo. Just come for a short break.

End of season for the house for 2025. Thank you to everyone that has stayed this year. We have already sorted out the new sun beds for 2026. If we hadn’t they would have changed the design! New broadband hopefully being installed wednesday. Never a dull moment.

Decided to have a day out in Sete about an hour and a half from Uzes. The old town is very pretty and wow there are some very big fishing boats. Had a lovely lunch fish of course.

Uzes today. Very busy as there was a big vide-greniers going on. Had a very nice lunch at the Terroirs the new owners are charming and they all work very hard. .

I managed to photograph this bee on our lavender. Incredible how much pollen they collect.

Uzes Saturday Market. Go in early as very busy by 11.00 ish. Always nice to stop off for a coffee and a croissant! Bought some lovely asparagus and strawberries. .

Les Gorges du Gardon. A lovely walk, weather just right. Fantastic views. We just don’t realise how lucky we are to have so many walks on our doorway. .
