AdoLand Cote d'Azur is for teens on the French Riviera: Outings, challenges, visits and fun in the South of France ALL IN ENGLISH

AdoLand was first made a reality in April 2013 following conversations with parents and teens alike. In 2013 the programme was hugely successsful at the CIV, and everyone enjoyed the multi-activitie programme. In 2014 we wanted to do something different. Hence we are going visiting on the Cote d'Azur. Museums and attractions, places of interest and ALL IN ENGLISH! (even the bus journey will be in

English!) A summer camp unlike any other, AdoLand is going to be an amazing English experience, without leaving France. Trips to Canyon Forest, Antibes Land, Fragonard, Musee de la Castre, Sailing, and LabyFolie All in English!! It's going to be an exciting programme which is completely different to what the KidooLand campers will be doing! ;) Ado's stay with their group and explore the Cote d'Azur! Speaking lots of English - these are English 'lessons' with a difference! It worked and it's coming back in 2015!! Le groupe pour les ados était né en 2013. Au CIV nous avons organisé des sports, des spectacles de théâtre et les jeux. Pour l'été 2014, nous avons développer la section AdoLand en suivant les discussions que nous avons eues avec parents et les ados eux-mêmes. Ils ont souvent exprime l'opinion que se serait trop tôt pour eux de partir a l'étranger mais ils souhaitent malgré tout avoir un vrai vécu en anglais .. Donc nous avons crée ce programme : "AdoLand explore la Cote d'Azur en anglais"! Pendant 4 semaines, les ados vont visiter des attractions locales, des sites d'intérêt culturel et des musées ceci en anglais toujours! Pas d'inquiétudes tout se fera avec plaisir et bonne humeur on n'oublie pas que vous êtes avant tout aussi en vacances - ils ne seront pas les cours comme au college! Nous avons prévu de vous emmener au chateau Picasso Musee a Vallauris, au magasin anglais a Antibes, et de manger a Place Foreville.... plusieurs d'autre choses a faire aussi.

Ça revient en 2015!!

In the 2nd week of the Toussaint Holidays we will be running a KidooPreneneur course for budding Kid Entrepreneurs. During the week the teens will need to participate in interactive sessions on what makes an great business (finance, advertising and marketing, buying and selling) come up with their own idea and sell it on Market Day. Profits from any sales will go to your nominated charity.

Spaces will be limited to 12 places. You must have a good grounding in English already although business vocabulary will be explained.

Tomorrow we visit Grasse to go on some cultural visits...Thursday to the Country Club (where today we saw a certain top tennis player ) and Friday we wrap up AdoLand with a day in the Trees in Villeneuve Loubet!

PLANNING ADOLAND 2015: 10-16 ans

We are looking at doing some new AdoLand activities in 2015. If you are a teen reading this (or a parent of a teen)..then please get in contact with your ideas and feedback. Even if they can't participate in 2015 it would really help to have their input on when and what we do.

Theme Positive People - who have changed our world/views/life (ex Steve Jobs, Helen Keller, Malala Yousafzai, Nelson Mandela..)
3 outings and 3 days of sports and activities.

15-17th CHALLENGE week in the Sophia Country Club
3 days in the Country Club for challenges, debates and lots of English fun!

20-24th July EXCURSION WEEK
THEME: Meet the Beatles Week .. Pop music, pop art and fashion in the 50s and 60s
3 FUN outings and 3 days of sports and activities. SEE HERE

27-31 July CHALLENGE week in the Sophia Country Club
3 days in the Country Club for challenges, debates and lots of English fun!

3-7th August
THEME: Culture and sport
3 days of outings and 2 days in the Country club.
