Good afternoon everyone!

Summer is well and truly here! Glorious sunshine all around.

Availability for the summer is limited with only
29 June to 12 July (13 nights)

Then anytime after 21st September.

Of interest is a memorial to 22 American soldiers who perished when their aircraft crashed in the local woods on 6 June 1944.

Their bodies were initially interred in the churchyard, then later taken to the American cemetery near Bayeux.

This is a new memorial on the spot where they were interred, and is just 5 minutes walk from the gite.

Our bluebells are on display again!

Spring has arrived, the weather has been clear and warm for a few weeks.

Availability is much the same as our last post.

Good afternoon!

Replanted is a cutting off the Ribes bush that had to be removed when we had our new drainage pipework installed.

I managed to propagate about 10 cuttings and one has been restored to its original position.

Today is the first day of spring, so I thought it was appropriate!

The other picture is of Dandy, daughter of our very own Odie and Darcy. She is staying with us whilst her elderly owner is in hospital.

Good evening everyone.

We've returned refreshed from our winter break in Portugal.

We had a flurry of bookings whilst we were away, this is the current situation for availability:

3 to 19 March
26 March to 10 April
27 April to 3 May
10 to 29 May
8 to 15 June
29 June to 12 July
19 July to 9 August
21 September onwards

We do have a 10% discount on July and August bookings made up to 28 February.

A little pre Christmas update.

We are now booked until 1st January 2025. We reopen on 10th February 2025.

Availability for 2025 is good, with the exception of June, where we only have 8 to 15 June available.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Woken up to snow!

Gite La Landelle is now closed for about 10 days as we are refreshing the paintwork and completing a few little works in the gite.

We have had a good year with good occupancy, we have availability over Christmas, but not New Year.

Availability: 1 to 29 December.

Bookings are open for 2025, we have availability apart from 29 May to 5 June and 15 to 29 June.

Evening everyone!

It's been bright and sunny over the last few days.

We have a few bookings over the Tousaint holidays- availability 2 to 8 November.

We will be closing for just over 2 weeks from 13 to 29 November for some cosmetic renovations - otherwise known as painting and decorating!

We have availability over Christmas and New Year- ask for details.

Meanwhile this rather large Cane Corso is on holiday here with his owners!

No Internet or telephone at the moment!
