Christmas is arriving with big steps. Traditions play an important role this season. For example, a nativity set is often part of the christmas decoration. But do you also know the very own nativity sets of the region of Provence,called " santons"? The small clay figuers reflect daily life in a provencal village and ancient professions. Thus, miller, fishermen, and similar figures wearing traditional provencal clothing are found near the nativity scene.
