France : Vaccination at full speed. The Biden Administration considers opening borders with Europe by mid-May.

By opening up the injection of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in pharmacies, France is significantly accelerating its vaccination rate. Vaccine deliveries are also intensifying :
- 52 factories are now working 24 hours a day, seven days a week in Europe to produce vaccines
- The European Medicines Agency has just eased the conditions for transport and storage of Pfizer vaccines
- The European Union's share of Astra-Zeneca vaccines is being rebalanced in a context close to a John Le Carré novel, with millions of doses found in a clandestine warehouse in Rome last week...

It is surely this dynamic that incites the Biden administration to aim at opening the borders with Europe and the UK mid-May. A date that France has fixed for having vaccinated its population of over 50 years-olds and more fragile people.
Restrictions within Europe are currently strengthened to safely reach the critical thresholds of vaccinated populations. "The light at the end of the tunnel ? "
