Beautiful, comfortable home!

We (2 people) spent two weeks in this lovely house, really well equipped. Stunning views in a peaceful environment. Facing a challenging, not busy golf course. If you are timely, you are practically alone on the course. Lunch buffet at the restaurant belonging to the course is highly recommended. Le Mans and Chartres are very beautiful cities for a day trip. In Nogent-le-Rotrou (8km), are all shops for everyday necessities. Nice market on Saturday morning. We have visited le Cheval Blanc late June 2014. The house was wonderful, very comfortable and fully equiped with anything you can imagine. The owners, Wim and Irene, do their very best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Lovely sight from the terrace over the landscape. If you are considering this house do not hesistate. It is impeccably decorated and clean. The location is central to so many sites: Paris, Normandy and the Loire valley, however, Vicheres in itself is lovely and the surrounding beauty makes you want to stay put! Most of all, Bill and Irene were the perfect hosts...they made sure we felt welcome and took care of our every need. We stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. When we asked our kids about their favorite destination of this trip (Versailles. Paris, Normandy...etc) and they told us...it's where we stayed ..in the comfort and beauty of Le Cheval Blanc! Everything is alright

Even if the weather is against you, it is a beautiful house where the living is good. Everything is alright and thanks to the great wood stove the house is easy to warm comfortably. Bill and Irene are always there for you. A great house for two, but also good for two or three couples. For golfers there is a challenging and welcoming course at a few hundred meters. We definitely come back and then we first go shopping at the French market in Nogent-le-Rotrou. Ferdi @ Barbara Oyen-June 2014

A warm family home
We have had a wonderful Christmas celebration with our children in Le Cheval Blanc. It's hard to say what the best is of Le Cheval Blanc: the spacious kitchen with wood stove or the cozy living room? The spacious and comfortable bedrooms or the luxurious bathroom with underfloor heating? Or the beautiful French countryside, which does not even lose its charm in the winter? It is in any case a big, warm, French family home where life is good. Thanks to the service and friendliness of Bill and Irene. We love to come back again! Guido and Jolien
