💜 The final days of lavender season are here…

If you’re staying in Avignon or nearby this week and you’ve been dreaming of seeing Provence’s famous lavender fields, this is your moment.

These photos were taken today on the High Plateau of Sault, where a few spectacular fields are still in bloom. In just a few days, the harvest will be completed and the lavender season will be over until next summer.

On our Purple Tour, we take you to these last beautiful fields, with a stop at Sarraud lavande fine where you can experience the authentic lavender harvest and discover the traditions behind this iconic flower.

“Is there still lavender in Provence?” 💜

This is one of the questions I hear the most these days.

The answer is: Yes!

While many lavender fields at lower elevations have already been harvested, the beautiful high plateau around Sault is still covered with breathtaking purple fields.

One of the reasons I love guiding visitors through Provence is being able to adapt each tour to the season and take my guests to the very best places at the right time.

If you’re visiting Provence in the coming weeks, don’t worry—you can still experience the magic of lavender!

Hot summer days in Provence… and honestly, there is probably no better place to be than in the cool cellars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape 🍷

Over the past few weeks, I had the pleasure of visiting several wonderful wineries with guests from around the world — passionate winemakers, beautiful estates and truly exceptional wines.

What I love most is not only the diversity and quality of the wines, but also the people behind them: dedicated, welcoming and deeply connected to their land and traditions.

Feeling grateful to work with such amazing partners and to share these experiences with visitors discovering Provence and Châteauneuf-du-Pape for the first time.

Today with a lovely American group at — enjoying a beautiful selection of wines, full of character and diversity.

A stunning setting, surrounded by vineyards and incredible views… this is Provence at its best. So grateful for these moments I can share with my clients.

Gordes is famous, photographed and visited by people from all over the world. But what I love the most are the quiet corners, the hidden gardens, the old olive trees and the views over the valley that you find when you just walk a little bit away from the main streets.

Even in a very famous village like Gordes, you can still find silence, wind in the trees and that special light of Provence.

This beautiful lavender soap was a gift from one of my recent guests — a truly talented and brilliant young man I had the pleasure of guiding on a day tour together with his wife and Dad:
He made the soap himself! 🌿
When he came, the lavender wasn’t in bloom yet… so today, as I passed by a field in full purple glory, I thought it was the perfect place to take this little beauty back to where it belongs. 💜
Merci again — this was such a thoughtful and special gift!
