We regularly go somewhere for lunch because in France lunch is the main meal and we think that is an excellent concept. This time it was with friends in Cadouin at . Delicious!!! Highly recommended!

You can experience all this just by looking around you here at Chateau Mondou. We live in the middle of nature here. Look how beautifully our wildlife has been photographed by one of our guests Eddo Bakker. With a 600 mm lens, he is right on top of it. Spectacular! # 🍀

About last week: van de vele kinderen die het goed met elkaar konden vinden, van het zwembad, van de speurtocht, van de schat, van de marshmellows, van de uil die in het schuurtje zat, van de eindeloze zomeravonden en wat de gasten ervan vonden. Lovely week was het!

Our prairie! Villeneuve sur Lot is a pesticide-free commune. That means no poison, no spraying in our immediate area. No orange fields. That knowledge does something to you, gives you a sense of freedom. No fear of nasty pathogenic effects. This is how it should be. A healthy environment. A safe place to go on holiday. 🇫🇷

spending ascension weekend with your oldest friends, that’s a good idea. and that paris also wins 5-0 is a party. it was a party anyway. read what the guests thought about it. Since we have so many new followers I will briefly introduce ourselves again: We are Rokus and Marie-Anne, two passionate bon vivants. Besides and after our Dutch work in care and theater and after having had several Gites in Burgundy for 15 years, we felt like a new life. Since 2021 we own Chateau Mondou, where we put our heart and soul in. We live there with Saar, our faithful four-legged friend, especially the summer season. We would like you to enjoy our domain. Count on three renovated fresh atmospheric castle gites in breathtaking surroundings. Super suitable for a group vacation with your friends or your whole family.
