Alexandre La Siesta is ideal if you’re looking for a well-located hotel in Tenerife that’s got plenty going on. You’ll find it in a central spot in Playa De Las Americas, around a five-minute walk from the beach and just a stone’s throw from a string of shops, bars, and restaurants.

When you’re not out and about exploring or chilling on the rooftop solarium (adults only), the poolside is the place to be. Dip into the two curvy outdoor pools – one of which is heated – which are set into a spacious sun terrace topped with a team of sunbeds. There’s a shallow swimming spot for little ones, too. And you needn’t worry about being hungry or thirsty – the poolside snack bar keeps the drinks and light refreshments coming during the day.

Activities-wise, you can get involved with everything from table football and snooker to water polo, or make use of the excellent gym facilities if you fancy a workout. Children, meanwhile, will find plenty of entertainment at the playground and the Magic Park, which houses a colourful soft play area. If you’re after some added relaxation, look no further than the spa. Here you’ll find a hydrotherapy pool, a whirlpool bath, a steam room, and a sauna and offers massages and beauty treatments.

When it comes to food, you’re covered by a buffet restaurant that serves international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect regular theme nights, too, where you can sample the likes of Spanish, Asian, Italian, and Mexican cuisine. For after-dinner drinks, look no further than La Palapa bar, which has a spacious outdoor terrace with live entertainment to enjoy.

Here at the new Hays Travel Aberdare branch we are very sad over the recent collapse of Thomas Cook, the news has hit us particularly hard as we all worked at the Thomas Cook Aberdare store.

We were delighted when Hays Travel offered us positions and an opportunity to continue to work together again as a team and provide you with amazing holidays and service.
