✨ Join the Abersoch Retreats Housekeeping Team ✨

We’re on the lookout for seasonal housekeepers to help us prepare our beautiful holiday homes for arriving guests on Fridays and Saturdays.

The role is completely flexible – our housekeepers are self-employed and simply let us know their availability. Whether you’re looking for a few hours or regular work throughout the season, we’d love to hear from you.

What we’re really looking for is the right people. A friendly team who take pride in their work, care about the little details, and understand that a sparkling clean property is the start of a great holiday.

If you have high standards, a positive attitude, and want to be part of a local business that genuinely cares about guest experience, we’d love to chat.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ It’s Abersoch 10K weekend! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The roads are closed, the village is buzzing, the pavements are packed, and somewhere in amongst it all we’re attempting the annual challenge of changeover day… armed with coffee, house keys and a questionable sense of direction. 😂

To everyone taking on the 10K, we’re cheering you on every step of the way! Whether you’re chasing a PB, jogging with friends, or just running for the post-race breakfast, you’ve got this. 👏

How to prepare for Whit Week as the boss of a luxury holiday home agency:

Step 1: Figure out what the guest is *actually* asking for.
Step 2: Immediately go to Pilates, grab an iced coffee and a little snack… throw in a beach view for “inspiration”.
Step 3: Use years of experience to work out what to do whilst definitely *not* considering a little cry.
Step 4: Put those primary school maths skills to work counting foundation-stained pillowcases.
Step 5: Carefully place guest chocolates… one for them, one for quality control 🍫
Step 6: Peer nervously behind bedroom doors hoping for no surprises.
Step 7: Fluff cushions like your life depends on it.
Step 8: Volunteer to deliver bed linen purely to escape the office.
Step 9: Walked too fast. The task I was escaping was still waiting for me on my return.
Step 10: Enter a full physical altercation with a fitted sheet.

Everyone imagines sea views, coffees and glamorous house tours… nobody talks about the behind-the-scenes chaos before hundreds of guests arrive 😂

The Christmas trees are finally coming down at Abersoch Retreats… and honestly, it feels a little sad.

But it’s also a moment to pause and remember why we do this.
Spreading joy. Making stays feel personal. Turning houses into places people remember.
