Nicolette's new Expedition bike. Back issues mean that she needs a high handlebar position to be comfortable. Our standard 8 speed set up but with a wide range [11-40t cassette and 42-26t chainset] for loaded expeditions. Cable operated discs with cross top levers.

It has been a while since I built a full-on Expedition bike. This is Sam's bike that he's using for a mixed surface Lejog in July. I'm using the often forgotten Surly Extraterrestrials. They're 30% lighter than the Marathon Plus Tour but do as good a job in all other respects.
