A wonderful week is coming to our home.

As part of Care Home Open Week, we’re delighted to bring residents, families, team members and our local community together through a football-themed programme of activities and shared moments.

This week, the residents here at The Close enjoyed a delicious burger takeaway night! 🍔✨
There were lots of smiles, laughter, and good company as everyone tucked into their favourite burgers and fries! It was a lovely evening for residents to relax, socialise, and enjoy a tasty treat together.😊

Despite the hot weather this week, our residents have been making sure their veggies stay happy and healthy! 🌱🥕🫜☀️
From early morning watering to giving plants a little extra care during the heat, it’s great to see everyone looking after their gardens and helping everything continue to thrive.
Well done to all our green-fingered residents — your hard work is paying off! 👏

Today at our care home we celebrated World Baking Day with lots of delicious treats, smiles, and wonderful memories made together. 🍰🧁
Residents enjoyed spending time baking, decorating, and of course tasting all the homemade goodies. It was a lovely day filled with laughter, creativity, and the sweet smell of fresh baking throughout the home.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so special! ❤️

This morning, our residents had a wonderful time welcoming ZooLab for a special animal visit! 🐍🦔🐸
There were lots of smiles, laughter, and curiosity as everyone enjoyed getting up close with the amazing animals and learning fun facts about them. Experiences like these create such joyful moments and lovely memories for our residents. 💚
