This morning, our residents enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine as they took part in a nature checklist around the garden. 🌳🐦🌼

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, spotting different flowers, plants, birds and other little signs of nature along the way. 🔎🍃

A lovely way to enjoy the outdoors, have a chat, and appreciate the beautiful world around us. 💚

We would love to welcome residents, families, friends, and members of our local community to come along and enjoy the festivities.

🚗 Parking Information:
Parking will be available on the car boot field by the Berinsfield roundabout, with our minibus running regular shuttle services to and from the fete throughout the day.

🎮 Tetris Fun at Our Care Home! 🧩
This morning, our residents put their skills, teamwork and concentration to the test with our handmade, life-size Tetris game! 💙

There was plenty of fun, laughter and some fantastic problem-solving as everyone worked to fit the giant pieces together. And we even had one of our residents complete the entire board! 🎉👏 What an amazing achievement!

Activities like this are a wonderful way to encourage social interaction, cognitive stimulation, coordination and, most importantly, enjoyment. It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved and cheering each other on. ❤️

Well done to all our residents — and a special congratulations to our Tetris champion! 🏆🧩

🌸 Remembering a very special birthday at The Close 🌸
This afternoon, a member of our Activities Team supported one of our residents with a special visit to the local shop to choose some beautiful flowers for his mother’s memorial tree in the garden at The Close, as today would have been her birthday. 💐❤️

Once back home, we carefully arranged the flowers together before placing them at the memorial tree.

It was a quiet and meaningful moment, giving our resident the opportunity to remember and honour his mother on her special day, surrounded by a beautiful garden and the memories they shared.

At The Close, we believe in supporting our residents to celebrate, remember and mark the important people and occasions in their lives. 🌷

🌟 A Morning of Fun, Focus & Organisation! 🌟
This morning, our residents enjoyed a lovely one-to-one shape organisation game, thoughtfully created by our Activities Team. 🧩🔷

The activity encouraged residents to recognise and organise different shapes while supporting concentration, coordination, problem-solving skills and cognitive stimulation. Most importantly, it provided a relaxed opportunity for meaningful one-to-one interaction and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊💙

A big well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to our Activities Team for creating such engaging and person-centred activities. 👏

This afternoon, our residents enjoyed a wonderful singalong with the fantastic Cody! 💕 There were plenty of smiles, laughter and familiar songs as everyone joined in and enjoyed the music together.
