The road into West Ardnamurchan

Loch Mudle (mooodal) with The Islands of Eigg and Rum in the background. If you are into game fishing, there are lots of free rising brown trout, Sea trout and the occasional salmon in there. Ardnamurchan Estate sells fishing permits for this Loch and another couple of Lochs up over the hill from here, you get the permits either from their own office at Mingary steadings, Kilchoan hotel, Sonachan hotel or Kilchoan shop. The season varies slightly but would usually be from March to October for Trout and Salmon. Rowing boats for use on Loch Mudle can also be hired from the Estate.

So guys.. This picture is from one of my trips to the Moorlands of Yorkshire! I sore this highland cow with its calf in a field; this bread originates from the highlands of Scotland, hence the name! I hopped the fence and laid on the ground and waited for the cow to come close and investigate. She came very close indeed, sniff my camera and carried on her way!
