On 7 February 2025 we were lucky enough to become the new owners of Cultalla. We stayed there in 2019 on a 3 week break and fell in love with Cultalla and it's surroundings. At the end of our stay we asked the owner to let us know if she ever was interested in selling the property. We knew this was a long shot and doubted it ever would ever happen. On 14 September the owner contacted us to let us
know that she was considering selling and we are now the proud guardians of Cultalla! Cultalla Cottage stands right on the shores of Loch Shiel with its own private jetty, some 40 miles from Fort William on the beautiful Ardnamurchan peninsula - a little slice of heaven indeed. You can't help but relax in the stunning scenery and all you hear is the sound of birds singing their songs. It is surrounded by its large, enclosed and secluded grass garden (with furniture), which is perfect for children to kick a ball and for pets. The hotel and little shops in the scattered crofting community of Acharacle are within an easy stroll. So you really can have it all - peace and quiet, but with amenities close at hand. The cottage has been a real labour of love and it has recently been given a superb makeover. Light, airy and Modern, with loch views from the windows, it enjoys every modern comfort, from two wide-screen TVs, just in case there is a conflict of interest. Efficient oil central heating and a wood-burning stove which pumps out both warmth add to the atmosphere. The L-shaped living area is very spacious and semi-open plan to the immaculate and well-equipped kitchen. Beyond that is a TV snug, shower room, three bedrooms and a further bathroom. The fine wooden flooring throughout is testament to the quality of this delightful holiday home. Reached by a short, gated drive from the little single-track road, there is plenty of parking at the door and there is access to a jetty for canoes or kayaks. Unique Cottages manage the cottage and any bookings and enquiries should be made through them
