Balloch Castle

My personal capture of these ghostly remains from the water. ✨

There is a hauntingly beautiful, almost ethereal quality to Balloch Castle when viewed from the loch. As I was out on the water, I saw it standing silent and weathered amongst the trees, looking like a bridge between the past and the present.

I wanted to capture that atmospheric, otherworldly presence it holds over the shores of Loch Lomond. This is my creative interpretation of a Scottish icon—capturing the "soul" within the ruins.
