One step at a time…

Hey adventurers!

As school holidays come to an end we find ourselves in one of those times during adventure when you’ve got your head down, slowly and consistently focusing on the steps ahead. As we look up we can see the spot we’ll stop and turn to take in the view, feel the feels and revel in the magic of our efforts…

Yeew, we love that bit of adventure, and we love that our work behind the scenes mirrors the journeys we share with you lot x

So here’s to putting one foot in front of the other and trusting where it leads.

See you soon for the view!

A Big Fat thank you x

To Our Adult Adventurer Community!

A thank you from all of us here at The Living Project for the support we’ve felt from each of you in your own way since The Living Project launched into the world seven years ago.

Whether that’s been as a silent supporter, a social media adventurer, or you’ve joined us on one of our adult Wild Adventures to Inspire Life; in Knoydart, Dartmoor, Eryri, The Peak District, Morocco, Nepal or Slovenia, we've loved sharing our adult adventures with each of you, however you’ve engaged with them.

For the past seven years we’ve loved doing the dance of providing both adult and school based adventures in the wilds of the UK and overseas.

Now, as we look ahead to 2027 and beyond, we’ve made the decision to focus our values, passions and expertise fully on supporting future generations to thrive through student adventures with purpose.

We're really excited to be hosting a very special one-off open adventure for adults with a young human in May 2027, and we'd love to share that with you so head to the website for more info if you're keen.

But the above means that our open adult-only adventure journey has come to an end.

We all carry so many magic memories of adventures shared with you guys. And we know that they’ve meant a great deal to each of you in your own way.

So thank you so much for sharing your journeys with us.

We’re so proud to have been a small part of your story, and we hope you’ll keep in touch, and continue to cheer us on from the sidelines, as we will you from slightly further back!

So, for now, journey well adventurers! Until our paths cross again.

With love and gratitude as always x

Sleeping (responsibly) wild

Not only cooler when the heat hits, but a properly adventurous and meaningful way to build connection with our environment. In doing that we inspire ourselves to take up the mantle of stewardship, and consider how we can play a critical role when it comes to environmental care in these hotter times.

Get out there adventurers, and look after yourselves and the environment you’re in, they’re linked. Take care of one and you take care of the other x

ADVENTURE PREPARATION!

Last week saw Andy visiting some of our awesome schools, meeting the students embarking on adventures with us soon. Facilitating opportunities to explore hopes, motivations, wonderings, concerns and of course kit lists is one of our favourite bits of the whole adventure process. The anticipation of preparation...

From Andy:

"Spending multiple days on adventure means challenge, growth and also permission to shift pace and slow down. In a blind snap survey every student in this group rated ‘pace of life’ as at least 4/5. It was interesting to see so many of them prioritising the. chance to pause and decompress on their own personal journey"

We can't wait to share a mindful adventure with these guys. Challenge? Yes. Growth? Yes. Stopping, BEING where you are and who you are? 100%

See you out there soon adventurers!
