A quick update on training with Wispa, she’s around 4 months old now and I am pleased with our progress. She’s been meeting people for some practice sessions this week and been really developing her skills flying around obstacles and in windy conditions. It’s lovely watching her development.

Just a when Diddly didn’t think his day could get any worse, this happens. He really does have the greatest ability to get into all sorts of scrapes,
And just to confirm he has wings and he was fine, he just wanted more food. I definitely think he enjoys being a comedian. We certainly love him for that fact alone. He really is one of a kind . If you fancy coming on a Diddly adventure he’s always happy to have friends to carry him around the woods and play hide and seek 😊

Me and Mr Diddly Squat got a bit wet yesterday, sorry to our customers we had to leave in the pouring rain, Diddly decided to go AWOL🙈
We all got absolutely soaked but everyone was fine, just another adventure and we can all laugh at how we looked afterwards.

Sorry to all my customers that were due to come on walks over the weekend and last week, I feel very bad letting you all down at such short notice, Very unlike me , but I am rather under the weather and am undergoing a number of tests at Basingstoke Hospital. Having fainted and sustained quite a bang to the head I was advised to get checked, hopefully the good old NHS will find out why I am not my usual self. Thanks to my friends and husband for looking after the gang while I am unable to perform my usual duties . Hopefully normal service will resume very soon 🙏

Hawk walks , owl walks, owl training, another busy day , Casper was on his A game and an absolute star with a lovely family and Wilf was his usual entertaining self.
Busy week for the team fully booked this week and enjoying the cooler weather 🙏

Wilf was very proud of himself, he found a cool new place to hide and had us all playing “where’s Wilf” this evening, I am sure there are a few tasty rodents living in there too 🐁.

When it’s so hot and dry , it’s hard to imagine being cold, here’s little Diddly out in the snow with us in January. As a falconer I much prefer winter, and am now longing for its return .

All set up ready for our meet and greet at tomorrow. We might head home a little earlier than advertised due to the warm weather so we would advise popping along in the morning or around lunchtime if you are planning your visit.

Another busy weekend and all the birds have been outstanding on their walks, here my lovely old fella Caffrey being awesome as always and being such a gent with the children. He’s 27 years old and such a pro, watching him in action is always a joy and brings a tear to my eye, very proud of my team every day 🤗
