This Thursday Chef Colin is serving up a classic with a twist - Amritsari Fried Fish: fillets of fresh plaice marinated in spices & fried in a gram flour batter, served with coconut peas, chat masala chips, and madras tartar sauce πŸ˜‹

AND you can treat yourself to a bonus dessert! Shahi Tukda is a rich, indulgent Indian bread pudding with pistachio, ground cardamom & rose petal ice cream 🌹

Ah the things we do to get the word out! πŸ˜… Alasdair risked life & limb yesterday, tightrope walking the very narrow ledge of sandstone between the first & ground floor, to put up possibly the longest banner EVER (12 metres!) Meanwhile, my vertigo is bad enough when I'm lying down, so after anxiously keeping him within grabbing-distance out the windows, I put up the nice safe window ones πŸ™ˆ

So hopefully it's *100%* clear now: WE. ARE. OPEN! 😊 We know with the public bar closed for the winter, and the other windows recessed, it's kinda hard to tell sometimes, but the real fire is lit 7-days a week in our super-cosy Lounge Cafe, and we've rejigged the restaurant bar for winter to add bar stools and more casual seating 🍻 You can still enjoy our full menu - now including BREAKFAST! - Wednesday to Sunday, and your four-legged friends can join you in the lounge too 🐾

Come and join us for a hot brew, a tasty treat, or a cold one (or two 🍺🍺) Our warm welcome is always waiting! πŸ”₯
