Great day out on Monday with Richard on a Guided Ascent of Jack's Rake on Pavey Ark.

An excellent grade 1 scramble made a bit trickier on the day with a good amount of water flowing down the rake and some strong winds once we got up top!

Big well done to Richard for getting it done! 👏

Pillar Rock Guided Ascent-

This week we had someone wanting to be guided up Pillar Rock to reach the minor summit of High Man, as part of his journey through completing all the Nuttalls. High Man, the highest summit on Pillar rock, is only accessible by technical scrambles or rock climbing, making the objective beyond the scope of most hill walkers. Ian went out with one of our guides to complete the objective on Wednesday, walking in from the beautiful Wasdale Valley on a dry and windless day, with just the summit of Pillar hiding in the clouds.

A very enjoyable day was had, climbing the summit of High Man, an abseil decent, the scramble up and over the neighbouring Pisgah top, then up to the main summit of Pillar to complete the circuit.
