Don't fancy cooking dinner while on holiday? Why not take a stroll to the fabulous Skye's at Amlwch Port. Their food is delish and they've now introduced their signature crêpes and pancakes to the 5-8pm evening menu. Well worth a visit! 😋

Though it’s not a national holiday, it’s still celebrated with parades, dancing, and other activities throughout England as well as other countries such as Venice, Genoa, Portugal, Ethiopia and Catalonia among others. He was truly an international saint!

🌍 Earth Day is a reminder about doing our part to protect the planet and have a positive impact on the world around us.

The theme for Earth Day 2025 is 'Our power, Our planet', which focuses on renewable energy. The organisers are calling for renewable energy generation to be tripled by 2030 around the world. We're doing our little bit by installing a solar PV and battery system a few months ago 🌞⚡️🌿.

Buzz, Incy & Winnie living their best pooch life on Ynys Môn last week! Buzz, the dalmation, felt the need to pose on the bunker (not the first dog to do that 🤣). How much fun are these beauties having? Happy dogs = happy owners, and our guests had a ball too! Thanks for the fab pics April! 🐾🐾🐾

Beautiful Aberffraw 🥰🫶. Lunch followed by a stroll along the estuary in the sunshine but a cool (chilly) breeze. 🌬
Should not haves: shorts, thin fleece 🩳👕
Should haves: long trousers, coat 👖🧥
Lessons learned: don't rely on the sunshine for heat ☀. Been effin' freezin' in the wind chill ...😨🤣

We hosted these 3 adorable Manchester Terrier amigos and their hooman slaves last week! Archie, Amber & Johnno had an ab fab time at Gwendon and between them, they walked over 50 odd miles during their stay!

The bird house has finally come back to its rightful place, where it used to live! Neil is going to lovingly renovate and put our stamp on it, so watch this space! It'll replace the small bird table that we put up temporarily. It's that big, perhaps we should rent it out as a bird holiday let - a literal "Air BnB 🐦" (groan) 😂.

March 20 marks the day this year of the astronomical Spring equinox, when day and night are pretty much equal in length 🌞🌝. And what a lovely day for it 🌾!
