This weekend we have a full house of walkers ready to take on the Anglesey Coastal Path. Amlwch is a great place to hop on the path with great return bus links for splitting the route into smaller walks.

Amlwch to Llaneillian point has great views over the cliffs our onto the Irish Sea. For the more adventurous this route will continue to Moelfre where you can visit the RNLI museum and shop.

Looking for something to do? How about a nice 10km stroll from Amlwch port to Mon Parys (Parys Mountain).

Don't worry Mon Parys is more of a hill at 151M. For those after the bigger mountains the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park is 45 minutes away.

If heading to Cemaes don't forget to have a pint at the most northenly pub in Wales.

Stocked with Beers, Ales, Gins Soft Drinks & more its definitely a great pit stop after a walk along the beach.

A little trip to Cemaes the most northernly village in Wales (5.4 miles ~10 minutes drive).

A windy but picturesque walk along the beach and the Anglesey coastal path.

The Cemaes Time and Tide Bell was installed in April 2014, and has become a prominent feature on Traeth Mawr. It is one of only five bells installed so far as part of the ambitious project by sculptor Marcus Vergette. The others can be found in Appledore Devon, Trinity Buoy Wharf London, Aberdyfi Gwynedd and B***a on the Isle of Lewis. Four more bells are currently under development.
