Amazing achievement by local community groups to improve access to one of the best beaches in Scotland! Lunan Bay beach. Well done to the team.
π Community Vision, Delivered On Time & On Budget
Weβre incredibly proud to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Lunan Bay All Abilities Viewing Platform, a fully community-led project delivered by the Lunan Bay Communities Partnership.
Over the past year, this initiative has been steered, planned, and delivered by volunteers. And today, with access and views like these now available to all, we can say:

π Phase 1 provides safe access to a scenic viewpoint for visitors with mobility restrictions.
πΆββοΈ Phase 2 will focus on upgrading the existing boardwalk (currently owned by Angus Council) to make it fully wheelchair accessible β estimated cost: Β£40β50k
