In the build-up to Small Business Saturday on 7th December 2024, we’re inviting you to nominate your favourite small business in the town centres of Arundel, Bognor Regis, or Littlehampton. Whether it’s an online store, office, shop, or any type of small business, they’re eligible!

Arundel Town Trail Initiative
Arundel Town Council have received a grant via Arun District Council to develop and implement a family-friendly visitor trail around the town. Targeted at families & day visitors, it is designed to:
1. Encourage more visitors to explore more of the town
2. Help promote local businesses and attractions both large and small
3. Link up existing tourist offerings
4. Provide opportunities to educate and entertain
5. Capitalise on new technologies (e.g. QR codes) to engage all ages
A Working Group has been established and had its first meeting on 24th July 2024 – the group comprises stakeholders from ATC, Arundel Museum, Arundel WWT, Arundel Castle, Arundel Jailhouse, Chamber of Commerce, Arundel Schools and local historians. ATC are currently exploring potential 3rd parties to provide creative and marketing support for the development and marketing of the town trail. The target launch date is December 2024 (to coincide with Arundel Christmas events) with additional launch activities scheduled for Spring 2025 to coincide with the start of the main tourist season.
