Discovering the magical world of Lud’s Church 😯🌳 This deep, moss-covered chasm is the backdrop of many local myths and legends ✨

In the 15th century it was used as a secret place for worship and other local legends say Robin Hood and Friar Tuck stayed in the cleft whilst hiding from the authorities 🧝

Close to the Roaches in Leek and Staffordshire’s Back Forest, the 18 metre deep chasm is covered from top to bottom in vibrant moss 🌿
