BEARDspoon Cider is a multi-award winning small Artisan Real Cider maker based in Sellindge, Kent.

BEARDspoon Real Kentish Cider, a small award winning Artisan Real Cider maker based in Ashford, Kent. We produce our Cider not for profit but for the enjoyment of others and to spread the word about Real Cider and its Apple'y Goodness! Real Cider is nothing like the chemical rich 'glucose wines' sold in major supermarkets and pubs, real cider uses 100% apple juice fermented naturally (usually by t

he apple's own wild yeasts) with no added chemicals. Our Cider is hand pressed using traditional Kentish grown eating and cooking apples including Bramley, Grenadier, Howgate Wonder, Discovery and Russet. The majority of which are handpicked by ourselves from little used organically grown standard-size trees, allowing us to use only the very best fruit. The entire process is done by our own fair hands, from picking to pressing and then as the juice ferments through the winter months racking, blending and Bottling!

We supply our Real Cider to pubs, Beer & Cider Festivals and local produce shops in various size Bag in Boxes and 500ml bottles. Unfortunately we only supply wholesale and not to the general public.

We've been playing with some cheeky special blends as the 2025 cider stock starts to diminish!

So far we've created 2 super exclusive blends, limited to just 60l each.

DISCO CRAB
Dry
5.5%
A blend of 2/3rds Discovery Apples to 1/3rd Crab Apples.
A deep & rich dry cider while also tart and floral!

MARSH MIST
Medium / Sweet
5%
A blend of 2025 Russet and freshly pressed 2026 Discovery juice with a hint of 2025 Bramley thrown in.
A naturally sweet, super juicy, cloudy cider with russet’yness!

Both these Ciders will be available at the The Hop Inn Hornchurch later in the year during our ‘Meet the Maker’ event (info soon) after first showcasing at the London Cider Club in October.

If you can't wait until then our most flavourist local The Beer Shop Folkestone will also have both available in the coming weeks, with Disco Crab currently going down very well.

That’s a wrap for the Discovery Apples this year, and may be for the future, on this scale at least.

Juice levels weren’t too much lower than normal but sugars up as expected at 1050og.

All the spent pomace has now been delivered to the local farm, to the delight of the cows!

Keep your eyes peeled for a fresh disco juice cider blend coming to our favourite cidery establishments very soon!

Our 'Official Tap Room' The Hop Inn up in Hornchurch has the new 2025 Vintage of Undecider'd available with Ciderfect waiting in the wings.

The amazing Beer Shop has had boxes of both Ciderfect and Undecider'd delivered recently for all the Folkestone Cider fans to enjoy.

With perfect timing for British Cider Week our amazing village farm shop at Potten Farm, Sellindge has now been re-stocked, just 100m from the tanks it fermented in!

The Tamworth Tap has a box of Ciderfect still available too, amoungst a plethora of real cider from across the UK!
