Wondering when the best time to book your next holiday?
It's never a bad time to book a holiday, but for most destinations the best time is 9–11 months ahead of travel. More options, better value, less stress — let me explain ⬇️
💰Better prices
Prices are usually at their lowest the further ahead you book. Hotels love an early bird deal and flights are cheapest when there are lots of seats still available. Book early = more choice + lower fares
🏨 Best availability
Booking ahead means first pick of airlines, flight times, hotels and room types. This is especially important for families, larger groups, and smaller boutique hotels or safari lodges that sell out fast.
And yes… this is often when those higher room categories are at their cheapest.
⏳ Time to perfect it
The earlier you enquire, the more time we have to research, compare and tweak your trip until it’s just right. This is a game-changer for multi-stop adventures, long-haul trips or group holidays where decisions take a little longer.
🧠 Well-being matters
Post-holiday blues are real. Booking your next trip soon after you get home gives you something exciting to look forward to…is there anything better than a holiday countdown?
💳 Easier budgeting
Booking early gives you more time to save and spread the cost. Paying little and often can especially make those big bucket-list trips feel way more manageable.
📅 Annual leave wins
Get in early and you’ll have no problem securing time off work. Plenty of notice for your employer = less stress and travel on your ideal dates
Got somewhere in mind? Let’s plan it properly while the best options are still available 😊
