I studied Travel and Tourism at college and have been in the industry ever since, managing a retail agency in Buckinghamshire before I sought more flexibility and a stronger connection with my clients which led

me to step into the world of self-employment as a homeworker for an independent agency. This also allowed me to have more flexibility in my work hours, enabling me to be available when clients need me most, such as on weekends or during evenings. Winning the prestigious TTG Homeworker of the Year Award in 2018 was a high point and one of my proudest moments.

A few more days, then my normal routine resumes - back to school runs. I have been kept as busy as ever these last few weeks. Looking after all my summer departures alongside booking many lovely holidays. The majority of bookings have been for 2026 with a few for 2027. Even an enquiry for 2028 - yes, you can book this far in advance. Greece has been really popular alongside bookings for Sri Lanka & Maldives, Cyprus, Madeira and a couple of city breaks.

Im looking forward to attending my first ATAS ( Touring and & Adventure ) conference for 2 days later this month at Silverstone. This type of holiday is becoming increasingly popular as more people look for experiences, exploration and something a little different from a traditional beach holiday.
