The Balgarth Pines to Host Fundraising Evening for MND Scotland
A special evening of entertainment is set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Balgarth Pines Bar, as the local community comes together to raise funds and awareness MIND Scotland.
The charity event, titled Making Time Count, promises a memorable night in support of those affected by motor neurone disease (MND).
Guests are invited to arrive between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, with a packed evening planned that includes live music, a buffet, and an exciting raffle.
Entertainment will be provided by the Memphis Events Band, known for their lively performances and wide-ranging repertoire, making them a favourite for all types of celebrations.
Tickets are priced at £20 per person, with guests seated at tables of 10.
All proceeds from the night will go towards MND Scotland, a charity that provides vital support to individuals and families affected by motor neurone disease, as well as funding essential research into finding a cure.
The event is made possible thanks to generous sponsorships and donations from a host of local businesses and organisations, including:
• WM Hyslop & Sons Agricultural Contractors
• Acorn Shutters & Blinds Ltd
• Ailsa Craig Gifts
• Rangers Football Club
• Ayr United Football Club
• William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd
Organiser David Blackstock is encouraging the public to not only purchase tickets but also consider donating raffle prizes to help raise as much as possible for this worthy cause.
“This event is about more than just raising funds, it’s about raising awareness and showing support for individuals and families who are facing the challenges of MND every day,” David said.
Tickets and further information can be obtained by contacting David directly on 07901 630467 or by email at [email protected].
With strong local backing and a heartfelt cause at its centre, the evening looks set to be a standout event in Ayrshire’s summer calendar.
