Hope Walking

Hope Walking I am a walker and bereavement supporter who guides inclusive modern-day pilgrimages and walking journeys for women and men of any/ no faith.

I write and speak on the power of holistic nature connection for physical and mental health, women & faith issues.

This year's Care for the Family Bereaved Parent Support Day is LOCAL this year. It's 20 June in Huddersfield, led by the outstanding Dave and Jane Park.

If you or someone you know has experienced the death of a child, I found these events incredibly valuable as I searched for peace and hope that life could ever be good again amongst those who understood.

Please share. Having just been on my own bereavement pilgrimage (shown here) with the British Pilgrimage Trust 13 years after Gabi died, I am reminded our losses are too heavy to be carried alone.

Tough to choose a few highlights of pre- walking the Peak Wesley Way today. What a wonderful, fulfilling, heart warming experience. Such beautiful vistas, invoking awe and wonder at creation.

14 miles. 40,000 steps. 20 lengths of Hathersage Pool to celebrate our achievement Day 1. (No stripping and clothes burning like the pilgrims of old upon reaching Finisterre, you will be pleased to know!)

LAST CALL TONIGHT folks for Peak Wesley Way Charity Challenge for Africa's Gift next Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May. 4 days, 3 overnight chapel stays, 46 miles guided by me and charity founder Ken Dunn MBE.

It's National Mental Health Week and what better boost than connecting with nature, ourselves and your journey companions?
