A very windy trip to Glen Feshie with a good mate at the tail end of storm Eowyn and a really wintry day from Cairngorm Mountain before that. Thanks Stuart and Paul Ross!

I absolutely love Coire Gabhail in Glencoe. I’m up there quite a lot working with groups. It’s a tragedy to see this, and so many other places, being affected by people. They are destroying the very things that draw them there - the beauty, wilderness and nature.

It’s really important with all the other pressures around that those of us visiting wild spaces do so responsibly and help keep them in great condition.

Fantastic week on Arran working for Hidden Hebrides. Great walks, plenty of laughs, stunning views, great food and lots of weather. Arran is gorgeous - hate to say it but it really is Scotland in miniature!

Another successful week working with Rob O Hara for Country Walkers. Lovely group but the weather plans were out this time. I can’t remember a worse summer but we still got out on our hikes everyday. Great food and few drams too (not the bottle of MacAllan at £24k though 😮).

Another fantastic week working for Country Walkers. Superbly organised as always, including the weather!

The guests loved it, I think Glencoe was tops for walks and the whisky distillery was the favourite attraction!
