If you’re looking for a campsite 🏕️ with masses of options for walks then we’ve got you covered

Padley Gorge is a firm favourite and just a 10minute drive 🚗 to park near Longshaw you can even encorporate a visit into your day 🤩

This is one of the many easy walks which is great for everyone in your party to enjoy 🥾

A September & Autumn Walk You Can’t Miss 🍂

If there’s one Peak District walk to save for autumn, make it Padley Gorge. Ancient woodland turns shades of gold and copper, fallen leaves cover the paths and Burbage Brook tumbles between moss covered rocks beneath the trees.

It’s an atmospheric, family friendly walk that feels made for September and autumn and one you’ll want on your list before the stunning colours disappear. 🍁🥾

One of the great things about our site is the location! Right in the heart of the Hope Valley there is no end of places to explore to keep the kids entertained 🤩

If visiting our site in the near future please be mindful that BBQ’s and Fire Pits are currently not allowed on site due to the fire risk in the Peak Park

The news that a wildfire at Cannock Chase was caused by a disposable BBQ is another stark reminder of why action is needed.

One disposable BBQ has left a football field-sized area of precious heathland destroyed, killed wildlife and tied up the fire service when resources are already under pressure.

That’s why I’ve been calling on major retailers to suspend the sale of disposable BBQs nationwide while wildfire risk remains so high.

Some retailers have already done the right thing, but others are still selling a product that poses a serious risk to our countryside, wildlife and communities.

This isn’t about stopping people enjoying the outdoors. It’s about preventing avoidable fires before they start.
