On January 3rd I saved this to my phone. My New Year’s resolution.
‘Don’t spend another year doing the same s**t’.
It was vague, yes, but it was also powerful.
Same s**t day after day.. wake up, sort the family, go to work, come home, straight to pick up Seb and then tea and bed. We were about to move house and hoped for a fresh start.
Fast forward to April and we are in the house, but honestly the same s**t still happening with the addition of all the work we wanted to do to the house and so a house in chaos.
So a change was needed. Again. So I decided to back myself. I re-launched Escapes With Em. Is it an additional thing? Yes. But it’s mine. It my own business to develop, to support the creation of a new life for me and my family. Finding pockets of time in my day for an additional income steam that quite honestly could grow exponentially should I wish it.
Now it’s May. Growth is coming. People are coming. Travel quotes are coming in. I have hotels I need to book for myself over the next few months that I will do through my business, and earn the commission back on trips I would be booking anyway. Seb and I are going Disneyland Paris again reaping the benefits of being in the travel business.
Life will change this year, and the next will be even better. I feel it. 💪🌍🥳
