Barnsley Toddler Sense We deliver toddler classes from 13 months to 5 years. Every week we introduce a unique theme, delivering a truly varied and stimulating learning experience.

Enjoy our varied adventure play set ups alongside structured activities linked to each theme. Hello and welcome to Toddler Sense Barnsley! Are you looking for an exciting, multi-sensory adventure? Then look no further! Here at Toddler Sense Barnsley we create the experiences so you can cherish the memories. Come along and join in the adventures with our friend Tod. Prepare yourselves to be transported into a multi-sensory world full of positive energy and wonder. Our award winning classes are designed by Dr Lin Day an expert in the Early Years field. Each class is carefully planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage to support physical development, communication, social and emotional skills that will form the foundation for all future learning. Our classes begin with the Adventure Play Area - here your little one can explore our exciting equipment such as bouncy castles, soft play, balancing equipment, balls pools and so much more. This part of our class is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to burn off lots of excess energy before we join together for our Sensory Area - Here is where the real magic happens! We offer two types of classes for your children; New Explorers and Adventurers. New Explorers - Perfect for those children who are still gaining their physical confidence or who are not yet walking. Adventurers - Ideal for active, confident movers. An ideal opportunity if you have siblings that want to attend the class together. Are you ready to join the fun? Just like that… 🥹🤍

What a week it’s been for us as a family. My daughter has started school and my little boy has started nursery and I honestly think I’m still processing it all! 🥹

There’s something about that first week that really makes you stop and think about how quickly they grow. The little uniforms, the oversized backpacks, waving them off at the door… and wondering how your tiny babies got to this point so quickly…🥺

I’ve felt excited, nervous, proud, emotional… sometimes all within the same five minutes!

Then there’s trying to get Lily to tell me about her day… apparently she can remember absolutely nothing that happened between 9am and 3pm! 😂

“What did you do today?”
“I don’t know.”
“What did you have for lunch?”
“I can’t remember.”
“Did you have fun?”
“Yes.”
“WHAT DID YOU DO?!” 😂

Seeing them both come home happy though, makes my heart full ♥️

To all the other parents who have had a first week of school or nursery - how have you found this week? Did you manage the first drop-off without crying… or was it just me? 🥲🥹

And please tell me I’m not the only one whose child suddenly develops amnesia the second you ask about their day! 🙃

I hope you’re feeling proud of yourselves as well as them because it’s a HUGE change for us parents too. 🤍

✨SINGLE SESSIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE!✨

Now that our Autumn Term has started we have a select few single spaces available to book online.

Please note that spaces are VERY LIMITED and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Some session times are very popular, with some classes already fully booked for the Autumn Term. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a single-session space will be available in the class, day or time you’re hoping for.

🗓️ Single-session availability will be updated weekly, depending on spaces available in each class.

🎟️ Single sessions are £9.50

You are welcome to check online or drop me a message to check availability. If the session you want is unavailable, please join the waitlist. You’ll then be notified if a space becomes available.

We know that when toddlers are encouraged to be physically active, they learn how their bodies work, build muscles, strength and endurance, and burn off excess calories.
