Just a quick one tonight, I met some old friends and their daughters family. I haven't seen the friends for years. It was so lovely to see them and even the beach and weather, showed up stunningly just for them and their toddler grandson 🩵

We had breakfast at Gemma's on Saturday and visited Combe Martin after, it was busy as expected, but we found a parking space on Higher Kiln which is a whole different view to our usual one from Lower Kiln. The tide was out a long way and the sea was beautiful with so many different blues 😍
We sat on a bench sipping coffee, for a while people watching and letting Rupert have a run around. The hill with the swan crest was just as parched looking as the golf club last weekend!

Whilst I was filming the deep blue of the Saunton side sea, I noticed a bit of boat as it entered the estuary. I sat there and watched, as it made it's way through getting longer and longer in the end it was huge as it came into full view.

The poor golf course was looking worse for wear, but there was no shortage of golfers, so it couldn't make much difference. 😍

A trip to The Northam Burrows Country Park for lunch and a wander last weekend. Firstly, the area of the car park that last year was a lake, this year is a dry car park! The ground was in desperate need of rain, but the beach was full of happy holiday makers 🥰
