All very fiddly to do what with the toilet, sink, walls, floor...basically everything not being straight!

That’s the bath side finally completed plus new bath taps fitted. All made from reclaimed pallet wood and stained.

Just doing a bit of work to the house while we are up here for our holiday.

I was going to replace the waste trap under the sink in the bathroom. It should have been a straight forward job, but ended up taking out the whole plug hole due to a leak. Managed to destroy the nut that held it in place, although it was incredibly well stuck into place by a huge buildup of limescale and needed hammering out. That needs replacing now and it's not the kind of thing I would have handy so currently without a basin in the bathroom.

About to start work on dismantling the toilet to put a new one in due to a different leak. Should be fun!

A great little place to visit - a real gem in Girvan. We've not checked out any of their events yet (time!), but sure to do when we can.

I thought it was about time that we put a few pictures of the house on here and to show a bit of the progress/destruction that we have been inflicting on it.
