This weekend we had three tents out for guests attending a wedding at Peak View Gardens in Cheddar. Glad it stopped raining just in time for set up on Friday, the wedding had fine weather on Saturday and today (Sunday) was gloriously sunny for take down!

We just about got away with it on Sunday. Gloribell came down first in persistent drizzle so she was very wet. She went up in the garden on our return and we packed her away dry on Tuesday! The Bredy Farm tents were next, and the group were rather messy so by the time we'd done the interiors the skies had cleared and the sun was almost shining. The canvas was slightly damp and they were laid out in the garden on Monday and we got them away before the rain returned. The Timsbury garden tent was dry when we arrived so we worked quickly and got her packed away just in time. The first raindrops fell as we set off for home!

Finally last Friday we pitched two 5m tents at Bredy Farm near Bridport for a group. Friday was quite wet and windy but we managed to get all tents up without getting a drenching ourselves! The forecast was pretty dire all weekend. Let's see if the takedown on Sunday goes as well!

Today was not a good drying day! It started off well enough, we got the two slightly damp 5m tents dry but an afternoon of persistent heavy showers meant Gloribell did not dry and the two groundsheets were packed away wetter than when we laid them out this morning! Oh well, please keep your fingers crossed for us that tomorrow is better!
