PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in comedy & drama, musical theatre and film & television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers. By working with people we believe are outstanding in their field, we ai

m to provide our students with a constantly evolving experience – something that is fresh, exciting and bang up-to-date. We want to instil the benefits of the performing arts into a new generation of young people, helping them to realise their potential, grow as individuals and become the people they want to be as they learn skills valuable for everyday life, not just the performing arts. And if our students have the ambition, we want to teach them the skills and give them the support to make it happen. Above all, we encourage our students to be amazing, just by being themselves. ✨ Exciting News at PQA Bath! ✨

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Lydia will be taking on the role of Principal at PQA Bath, alongside her existing role as Principal of PQA Weston-super-Mare. 🎭🎬🎤

Today marks Lydia's first official day as Principal of PQA Bath! Lydia brings a wealth of experience, energy, and passion for the performing arts, and we are thrilled that she will be leading both academies. Having already built a fantastic community at PQA Weston-super-Mare, we're excited for our Bath students and families to benefit from her inspiring leadership and commitment to helping young people thrive.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we look forward to seeing both academies continue to grow, create, and achieve amazing things together.

On Sunday, Lucy took to the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre with our incredible students for a truly unforgettable performance of Across The Line — the perfect ending to an amazing chapter.

We were also so lucky to have Lydia, the new Principal from there to share the experience with us before Weston takes Across The Line to the stage in July! ✨

We absolutely loved having Lydia with us and already know the students at PQA Bath are in the best hands. Here’s to exciting new beginnings, unforgettable memories and the magic of PQA 💫🎭

🌟 WOW WOW WOW 🌟

Huge congratulations to the incredible students of PQA Bath on their outstanding performance of Across The Line at His Majesty’s Theatre in London today! Your kindness, respectfulness, and sheer talent truly shone through, bringing tears to our eyes. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you!

A massive thank you to our amazing team: Nancy, Jack, Emily, Anya, Hazel, Abi, Teagan, Aaron, Lydia, and especially Jess. Your dedication as choreographer, musical director, and director has been nothing short of inspiring. We adore you and are so grateful for everything you’ve done for our academy! 💖

We’d also like to extend our appreciation to the production team from HQ for their organisation, calmness, and kindness that made our experience today truly wonderful. A shoutout to and what a pleasure it was to share the stage with you!

And finally, thank you to the parents for ensuring our students arrived on time and looking fabulous. Enjoy the rest of your day, and don’t forget to share your amazing experience with friends and teachers!

After months of rehearsals, dedication, creativity and hard work, our students are ready to step into the spotlight and bring this incredible show to life in the West End. We could not be prouder of every single performer, assistant, teacher and family member who has been part of this journey.
