We provide three basic options:
1. Guided Ancestral Tours - let Scotia Roots lead you on a personal journey through your family's history. You will be escorted at all times by a Professional Genealogist and university qualified Historian. You will be transported in your very own chauffeur-driven luxury vehicle which can accommodate 1-8 passengers. Our tours are a pefect addition to your Scottish holiday or short-break!
2. Ancestral Self-Drive Tours - let Scotia Roots take the hassle out of planning your Scottish tour! We will organise a full tour itinerary which takes in all of the important locations that feature in your family's story. Your bespoke tour can be adapted to fit in with the duration of your stay in Scotland.
3. Ancestral Video Tours - our NEW and UNIQUE tour option transports you to the beauty and majesty of your Scottish ancestral homeland, while you watch from the comfort of your chair! We will travel to all of the significant locations in your family story and record a professionally edited, 'documentary style' video with full narration and historical context. This option is pefect for those unable to travel to Scotland in person, or those who wish to own a treasured part of their family history that can be enjoyed by all generations.
All tour option include full genealogical investigation which is professionally bound and includes a personalised family tree.
