You’ve been circling something like this for a while now - a different rhythm, less noise, more tide. A life that asks a lot from you, but gives something worthwhile back in return.
Amelie Rose is not a luxury yacht, she is a sturdy working boat. She was hand-built, in Cornwall, by master shipwright Luke Powell. She is solid, responsive, deeply alive under sail - a boat with presence, weight, and a history.
She is currently alongside at Buckler’s Hard, being lovingly maintained and cared for by the skipper who commissioned her in 2009. She is ready for a new custodian to step up and embark on her next adventure.
The Amelie Rose is not a project, nor is she a quick decision - she is a threshold to a new life.

Where she is now:
Amelie Rose is currently alongside on the Beaulieu River in Hampshire, UK, and has not been sailed since summer 2023 when she was running as a charter vessel.
We have continued to care for her and maintain her condition and seaworthiness, and we have a clear, practical pathway to returning her to sailing readiness. This can be undertaken in collaboration with a serious buyer. We are happy to talk through exactly what that looks like.

We’ve had strong interest over time - mostly from people who felt the pull but weren’t quite ready to step into this life. If you’re still reading, you may be closer than you think.
