Established 1992 Mountainbeds have been offering tailored ski accommodation in the mountains. Her passion is off-piste skiing and Verbier offers the best.

Experts in matching you with the perfect mountain stay - winter or summer Mountain Beds is run by sisters Melissa Brownlow and Camilla Brownlow. After five seasons working in Verbier, Melissa found she was increasingly asked for advice on every aspect of skiing holidays. She set up Mountain Beds in 1992 and since then she and Camilla have expanded their base of expertise beyond Verbier and now off

er a selection of accommodation in all the main ski resorts. To maintain contacts and find new ones Melissa goes to Verbier about six times a year as well as visiting other resorts. Camilla has skiied with her children since they were very small and has first hand experience of factors that can make or ruin a family holiday. Normally we are paid on a commission basis by the supplier of the holiday and the price we give you is the same as if you went direct. We guide, advise and save you the stress by finding the best holiday to suit you.

What has been the highlight of your summer? 🌞

Our Mountainbeds annual leave was spent aboard sailing around the with the fabulous Nikki and her crew.

It really felt like a chalet on sea - incredible food from breakfast through to dinner, plenty of tea, coffee (and no shortage of booze!), all enjoyed against the most beautiful backdrop.

Perfect weather for swimming, island walks, pub stops and adventures with Bracken - our resident dophin spotter & wood collector. And then there was the unfogettable eclipse... 😎

So, the big question: should we branch into Seabeds?

Spartan Race is coming to Verbier on September 5-6th 💪. Who's ready?

Mud. Mountains. Obstacles. Questionable life choices.

We’ll leave the running, climbing and crawling to the Spartans — but we’ll definitely be cheering them on from Verbier. 🏔️

It’s going to be quite a weekend.

Summer will soon be behind us and the snow will again fall

The sweet spot of the merge from one to the other

Before Verbier turns white, there’s a little window when it turns gold.

Walking boots instead of ski boots, quieter trails, crisp mornings and long lunches.

Autumn has its own thing going on here.

A little trip down the ski slope memory lane… 🎿

The late '80s/early '90s brought us colourful ski outfits, narrower skis and big mountain adventures.

34 years later, Mountain Beds is still here — the love for the mountains hasn’t changed… although thankfully some of the outfits have! 😉

From retro ski style to today’s high-performance kit, one thing remains the same — that feeling of waking up to a snowy mountain morning.
