Hello everyone, this is a very sad announcement for me to make, but I’m very sorry to say that Bloody Mary’s Studio will not be opening again after the pandemic. It’s not been an easy or straightforward decision I’ve had to make, but there are elements that unfortunately cannot be worked around.
This isn’t to say that further down the line we won’t be opening a new studio, or Bloody Mary’s in a different form, but for the foreseeable future, Bloody Mary’s is now closed.
For those of you who have jewellery changes and upgrades you wish to fulfil, or simply new piercings you would like to get, I have a list of local piercers I highly recommend and who I am in frequent contact with, so don’t hesitate to ask me ☺️ You are in safe and very capable hands.
For those of you who have outstanding jewellery orders, be assured that as the factories and suppliers are opening again soon, your jewellery will be on its way soon too. I will get that delivered to you as soon as it’s in my hands. Be prepared for a further wait though as they all have lots of back orders to get on top of now.
And finally for those of you who have vouchers I will be contacting you directly to arrange refunds, and I am sorry that I cannot perform these piercings for you, but as I said before I have many contacts which I can direct you to locally and all over the country. They are extremely skilled, talented, safe piercers that can still make your piercing dreams come true.
I have gone through some of the hardest journeys of my life since beginning Bloody Mary’s, and closing the door to this chapter is as equally painful as it is an exciting new challenge and chance to reflect. For now I will miss all of you, my wonderful loyal and loving clients so much. I have laughed with you, cried with you, reassured you and helped you reclaim parts of you that you’d never think you’d love again, all the while you have validated me and restored confidence in myself during times I that felt so low that I couldn’t look anyone in the eyes. The studio has saved me more times than I would like to admit, so I would like to say thank you to my Bloody Mary’s family, The Cavalier Club family for giving us our wonderful home and support, and my Piercer family, who without sometimes I would have felt completely alone in the industry.
And I would like to say one giant thank you to my business and life partner Alix, who without, I wouldn’t be able to stand at all. She has been the brains behind the website you have all come to love and rely on for appointments, created adverts and built cohesive marketing plans. She has been extremely involved in the branding and created customer journeys and connections I could never do alone. She has supported me financially during my little brother’s battle with cancer when I needed to be by his side instead of in the studio. And when he sadly lost the battle and I was unable to work or felt powerless to get back on my feet, she held me up.
Alix has been the invisible member of Bloody Mary’s that’s been the constant driving force behind me, and it’s about time that we thank the living hell out of her for everything she has done for me and you, my clients.
Goodbye for now, I’m sorry that read a bit like I was accepting an award, because it certainly doesn’t feel that way 😂
Keep staying safe, and keep supporting local businesses which are working hard to serve you the safest way possible.
We love you all,
Bloody Mary’s Custom Piercing Studio 🦌 x
