Why we floated the JB

We want to enable local people to enjoy the wonderful river environment on their doorstep – and build support to get the planned Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway created, section by section, as a series of Waterway Parks. Community groups can book the boat for their social outings, businesses can use it for client and staff events, and private individuals can use it as a uni

que event for all sorts of parties. The JB also works with schools and colleges to provide project experience and support for history, geography, environment, social and business studies.

We are offering the return cruise on our Anchor Lunch Cruise on 24 September as a private charter for your group- at a discounted rate!

If you have a group of 40, this could be the trip for you:

🛥Pick up at 11.15 by coach at Priory Marina
🛥12pm Lunch at The Anchor Inn, Great Barford
🛥Cruise back at 2pm to Bedford on a 3 hour cruise with a licenced bar onboard

We are offering this at the discounted price of £1600 (usual price £1880).

If you have a smaller group- don't worry we still have spaces left on the outbound cruise.

We welcomed on our 🎉65000th🎉 passenger Mr Brownell onto yesterday's Anchor Lunch Cruise with a bottle of bubbles to enjoy with his partner on the 3 hour leisurely cruise home 🍾

We look forward to hitting many more milestones over the next few seasons 🙌
