Heathrow has officially completed the rollout of its brand-new high-tech CT security scanners — making it the biggest airport in the world to do so across all terminals!

What does this mean for passengers flying from Heathrow?
You can now:
✨ Carry liquids in containers up to 2 litres
✨ Leave liquids inside your bag
✨ Keep laptops and electronics in your luggage
✨ Forget about those annoying clear plastic bags

In short: faster, smoother, and less stressful security checks.

This £1 billion upgrade is a huge step forward for airport travel, ending years of restrictions that started back in 2006. While some UK and EU airports are still stuck with the 100ml rule, Heathrow is leading the way into the future of travel.

Heathrow’s CEO says the new scanners will process thousands of passengers an hour with better safety and efficiency — meaning less time queuing and more time enjoying your trip 🏝️
