Our final night in Ireland was spent at beautiful Cabra Castle — and honestly, I can’t think of a more fitting ending to this journey.

Over the past days we’ve explored breathtaking landscapes, listened to stories filled with heartbreak and resilience, laughed our way around the country, and experienced the warmth and hospitality Ireland is known for.

This morning feels bittersweet. In just a few short hours we’ll be flying back across the Atlantic.

Until next time, Ireland. ☘️

We spent most of yesterday exploring Belfast. Like the country it resides in, the history of this city is deeply complicated and marked by decades of unrest. Much of Ireland’s struggle centered around independence and British rule, but here in Belfast, the conflict became heavily divided along religious and political lines — mainly between Protestants who wanted to remain part of the UK and Catholics who sought a united Ireland.

What surprised me most was realizing that, in some ways, those divisions still exist today. Peace has come a long way, but you can still see reminders throughout the city in the neighborhoods, murals, and even the “peace walls” that remain standing. It’s a fascinating, emotional, and eye-opening place to experience in person.

We had the honor of adding to the messages on the Peace Wall while we were here. Something I will carry with me always.

Some places don’t even feel real until you’re standing in front of them.”

Today that place was Kylemore Abbey. Nestled between the mountains and the mist of Connemara, it looks less like a building and more like something pulled from the pages of a storybook. ☘️

The fog somehow made it even more beautiful — quiet, dramatic, and unmistakably Irish.

There’s nothing quite like a chilly morning cruise on the River Corrib to wake you up. ☘️ Today started with my very first Irish coffee, a little bit of sunshine breaking through the clouds, and hope for a rain-free day ahead.

Along the way, we learned the art of making an award-winning Irish coffee and were treated to a lively Irish dancing demonstration. Ireland continues to charm us at every turn. 🇮🇪

We visited the legendary Blarney Castle. ☘️🏰

Between the castle ruins, hidden gardens, winding stone staircases, and incredible views, this place truly feels like stepping into another world. Ireland continues to amaze us around every corner.

Would you kiss the stone for the “gift of gab”? 😄
