𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐀 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘!
Wednesday is a big day for anyone waiting for more information about Celebrity River Cruises! On Wednesday you can register for your place on one of those maiden voyages in 2027 and you will receive an e-brochure of itineraries, dates and pricing!
This is a race for space as this exciting new river cruise brand will open worldwide on Wednesday and let’s not forget with maybe 150 guests per voyage and just 2 ships on the rivers… all it needs is a book group or wine group to book a voyage and it will be gone…
So registration is important to give yourself the option to then turn your registration into a booking on the 10th September … here’s all the details you need:
🔷 Registration will open on Wednesday 3rd September at 2pm.
🔷 You register by paying £400 up front to us here at The Cruise Room; this is the deposit set by Celebrity, we are not adding to it. It IS fully refundable if you decide not to convert into a booking which is good.
🔷 Once you have registered we will receive an e-brochure to give you. We believe this e-brochure will have dates, itineraries, stateroom types and some pricing.
🔷 If you see something you like you let us know by the 9th September.
🔷 Effectively you have a week to make your decision because Celebrity will contact us as a preferred agent on the 10th September in order to find out what you want to book and then they will convert your deposit into a full booking!
🔷 If you do not go through this process then you'll need to wait until general sale which will be later on this year. We think it will be a little while and of course if thousands have already booked then you’ll be left with what’s left for that first season!
🔷 There are just 2 ships going on sale in 2027! 1 ship will do the Danube, 1 ship will do the Rhine. Celebrity have 10 ships on order!
🔷 We are not expecting the ebrochure to tell us specific things about the ships; there will be a small ‘leap' of faith to some degree and you're securing your place onboard to be able to say you're one of the very first to step onboard a Celebrity river cruise!
🔷 There will be lots included - Dining options, Select drinks, Wi-Fi and a shore excursion every day!
🔷 Guests will be able to add air and hotels for their voyage at a later point
Listening to team Celebrity we do think there will be big demand for this product - not least from the U.S. market. We do need to remember that river ships are only going to have something like 150 guests (exact number on these ships not confirmed) per sailing so as we say a medium size group can take up an entire sailing. Entry level staterooms and top suites will be the first to go - it’s always like this with a new ship or launch!!
It's exciting for Celebrity and it's exciting for the river cruise market as some guests will look at river cruising now which they never would have before... that's a good thing with some incredible river cruise lines and experiences already out there.
