This short video about our Belfast Urban Affinity Festival which took place on Monday 5th Nov as part of Belfast Music Week, was filmed, edited, and produced by the young students of Lurgan Junior High School. They also conducted all the interviews. Great bunch of young people.

A big thank you also to all the facilitators and young people that took part in the workshops and performances.

Special thanks to and the clinic who blew the kids away, and invited some of the young people up for a bit of beatboxing, break dancing and more.

What an atmosphere.

All workshop participants will be entered into draw on the day for tickets (kindly donated by Shine Productions) to see the Rizzle Kicks that night at the Ulster Hall!

Belfast Urban Affinity returns on Monday 5th November as part of Belfast Music Week.
A full day of music and industry workshops and performances designed for young people.
It's FREE. Registration is 10am, and first half ends at 5pm, with the House The House DJ final running in the evening.

Belfast Urban Affinity festival at Oh Yeah kicks off Belfast Music Week

The Oh Yeah Music Centre will kick off its programme of Music Week activity on Sunday, October 30, with the Belfast Urban Affinity Festival – an all day event packed with free workshops and a performance from one of the UK’s rising Urban acts, Fugative.
