EastSide Arts is seeking four artists to take part in Creative Children - Artists in Residence, a pilot programme exploring how artists and early years practitioners can work together to strengthen creativity in everyday practice.

🎶🎨Culture Night 2026 🏛🎬

Speed Storytelling: Take a seat and hear a tale at Templemore Baths Heritage Centre this upcoming Culture Night

Local residents will be sharing one-on-one stories with visitors in the historic Templemore Bath House. Each visitor will have ten minutes with a storyteller who will share a unique story, history and poem.

This is a FREE event that does not require a booking.

Join Anne Johnston from the North of Ireland Family History Society to learn about about family research through DNA.🧬

Anne will show guests how to use DNA testing to research your family tree. The talk will show how DNA testing can validate traditional research, discover unknown relatives and family branches, resolve family mysteries, break through research 'brick walls' and reveal your ethnicity and historical migration routes.

DNA kits will be available for purchase for those interested in the testing. These tests are automatically registered in the North of Ireland DNA Project which currently has almost 12,000 testers.

This European Heritage Open Day there will be a special tour of Templemore Baths with local historian Bede! 🇪🇺👨‍🏫🏛

Explore the only remaining Victorian baths on the island of Ireland with an expert guide and learn about the hygiene habits of the Victorians and Edwardians, the class divide between aristocracy and the working class, and how important centres like Templemore Baths were to society.
