It’s not always more flowers. Or bigger setups. Or spending more. - It’s how everything comes together in the room.

Most people don’t know this, but I spent a full wedding season working with a broken foot. (Notice my leg is hiding in most pics from this shoot 😂🩼🦶)

Weddings didn’t stop. Setups didn’t stop. But everything became harder overnight.

It made me realise how much goes on behind the scenes that couples never see — the lifting, the timing, the problem solving, the pressure to get everything right.

Since then, I don’t just think about how things look. I think about how everything runs.

Because when you walk into your ceremony or reception, you should just feel excited. Not wondering if anything’s been missed.

That experience changed how I plan every wedding now.

When we’re planning flowers with couples in the studio, we always talk about where arrangements will actually sit in the room. Not just what they look like on their own.

In this space, a few well-placed pieces framed the ceremony area and helped draw everything together without filling the whole room with flowers.

It’s something couples don’t always think about at the start, but placement makes a big difference to how a ceremony space feels (and how it photographs).

I’m still not over this stunning wedding we designed the florals for in the picturesque last summer. A perfect selection of luxury faux flowers and foliage merged into the natural setting beautifully ✨🌸

Together at the studio Ru, Sara and I played with various colour options until we got the collection just right for their big day! The aisle florals doubled up as centrepieces on some of the tables, the ceremony archway adorned the back of the top table and the rest was sprinkled around the venue adding that little bit of extra personality to the venue! Add in dreamy bouquets and buttonholes to set the scene just right!

As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to say the biggest thank you to every couple who trusted Innocent Chaos with their wedding flowers this year. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.

This year has been huge for us. We sold our house, bought our dream home, and welcomed our first baby into the world. So much to be grateful for… and a lot to carry at the same time. Juggling a move, new motherhood and running this business has been full-on, but also incredibly special.

I’m so thankful for the patience, kindness and belief from my clients — it’s what’s kept Innocent Chaos moving forward during such a big season of life.

Looking ahead to 2026 feels exciting. A new home studio, a fresh chapter, and lots of beautiful wedding flowers still to come. I can’t wait to create with you.
