We lost another old colleague today, ex flexibus and citybus driver, Brendan [Chiefy] Kearney,may he rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time.

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of

Brendan Kearney R.I.P.

Brendan passed away peacefully at hospital 5th April 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Loved son of the late Sally and Joseph. Beloved husband of Tara. Devoted Daddy of Saoirse. Cherished Grandfather of Cruz, Denzel and Aiyiana. Much loved Brother of Paddy, Seanie, Roisin, Alice, Emma and the late Marion, Sheila, Marguerite, Joseph, Una and Dede.

May He Rest in Eternal Peace.

Brendan will be reposing in our Chapel of Rest (98 Stewartstown Road) from Wednesday 9:30 – 2pm for those wishing to pay their respects. For further viewing times please contact our office on 02890620099.

Brendan will leave our Chapel of Rest on Thursday at 11:20am to arrive at Milltown Cemetery for Burial at 11:45am. As per Brendan’s wishes there will be no church service.

Eamonn Grant R.I.P

Eamonn passed peacefully at home surrounded by his adoring family on Friday 16th January 2026. Dearly beloved husband of Angela. Cherished father of Eamonn, Conor, Declan and much-loved father-in-law to Geraldine, Caitlín and Erin. Much loved son in-law to Maureen. Devoted grandfather of Tia, Ethan, Elaina and Fíadh and step-grandchildren Chantelle and Tierna. Loving brother of Tony, Bernie, Deirdre, Damian and Roisin. A much-loved son of the late Patrick and Bernadette.

Late of 7 Coolnasilla Park South.

Eamonn’s remains will be reposing at his late home from Monday evening for those wishing to call and pay their respects each day between 2pm and 11pm. House private after this.
Eamonn’s remains will leave his late home on Thursday at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Teresa’s Church. Burial to follow in Milltown Cemetery.

Eamonn will be loved and missed by his heartbroken wife, sons and partner, grandchildren and step grandchildren, brothers and sisters and entire family circle.

With great sadness I share this message today, my old citybus colleague and friend, I'd lost touch for years and we contacted each other just before christmas, to hear this today, I'm gutted. May he rest in eternal peace, Big Grace (Eamonn Grant) our thoughts and prayers to his extended family and loved ones at this very sad time. 🙏🙏💔💔😔😔

More sad news, Our friend and ex Falls Driver Gerry McNally has passed away. Gerry’s remains will leave 14 Coolnasilla Park West on Wednesday 10th July at 9.30am to arrive at St Teresa’s chapel for 10am Requiem Mass. Burial to follow in Blaris Cemetery, Lisburn. R.I.P.
